Our Programs : Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault : Victim's Support Group
Victim's Support Group

Support groups offer an opportunity to break out of isolation, talk with others who have been in similar circumstances, and meet women and men who have overcome the violence in their lives.

FSA offers two psycho-educational support groups facilitated by trained professionals.

The introductory group offers a curriculum and discussions surrounding the theories regarding domestic violence, safety and batterers.

After completion of the introductory group, a second level group discusses thinking errors. Participants have the opportunity to examine thought processes and assumptions and apply those to their personal circumstances.

A children’s support group operates during the adult groups and offers fun and discussions for children from violent homes. Child care fee is $1 per child.
